Thank you again Nico for your input. I did try a portrait crop and after looking at it for a while decided to leave it landscape. The portrait crop appeared very tight and I feel the plane lost perspective of being in the sky and its sense of movement, I also feel the drama of an airplane heading straight for the ground was diminished. Believe me I'm no expert but I do appreciate your comments, the reason why I'm here is to learn from you and many other excellent photographers that enter their beautifully creative images here. Michael

Bright. Sharp. Colourful. Loaded with action. (I wondered whether a portrait type crop might not have worked better. But this comment is from somebody who is no expert at all when it comes to taking picures of aircraft, to take it with a pinch of salt.) ~jnconradie
