Thanks for the comment Traveller. I've uploaded an updated image with sharpening applied. In all honesty, I didn't bother applying any sharpening to the first version, and that was from raw, so it was rather soft. I do think this better now, but some jaggies have appeared on the wires. Oh well, you can't win with everything for a quick fix.
Still don't think this looks as good as it all did to the naked eye. I didn't manage to capture quite what I was after. There were actually two more pylons there creating thousands more angles, but I couldn't capture them all with the wide-angle without including loads of distractions, and I wanted to keep a clean image.
Maybe I'll try again another day from the other side of the river, but on the day I took this, it was too long a walk to get there, hehe.
I like it also, especially for the colors...but, I did D/L this for the heck of it and gave it another blast of sharpening, this time in Thumbs+, shapren Less and I thought it a better
image. In PS or wherever, try this with a little more sharpening...you'll like it, IMHO.
This lot caught my eye whilst hunting for birds at the lake today. Unfortunately, the skies were rather washed out when I took this so I've had to try and bring them out by boosting the saturation. Not sure if I like it yet, might go with a mono version.
