Perhaps so, Victor. I've learned a lot since I originally processed this. Fortunately I have the raw file to fall back on, and a program that will work in 16 bit. I do have a 13x19 on cotton rag paper that I'm quite pleased with; with its DMAX limitations the contrast issue isn't really noticeable. -Doctah

I think you were too aggressive about recovering shadow detail under the bridge. The contrast between the dark water and the underside of the bridge should not be so high in my opinion. -- Victor
