The birds almost look like they're made of glass. Very nice - Pops

I love this too - a common scene for you, yet with a surreal twist. Cindy

I really love this shot, Ann! It certainly looks surreal and the color is fantastic! shu

Thought you'd never ask. ;-) It's the tops of some trees that ended up in the same selection as the birds so they are also in reverse. I was thinking of trying to cut them out of the picture. What do you think? Ann

Thanks for the explanation. I suspected something like that. But what about that blob at lower right? I find my eyes keep wandering over there to try to figure out what it is (thus far unsuccessfully). -- Victor

Truth... the birds are actually white with black wing tips. I used PS to invert them while keeping the sky as it was. Then I changed the color of the sky to the purple tone. Thanks for the comments. Ann

Very interesting lighting on the wings. Is it shining through from above or is it reflecting from the front as the birds fly into the light? The bright white is a nice complement to the cool lavender color of the sky and clouds.

Yup Ann, the birds sure do look ghostly. Nice one.

Cheers, Vikas.
