Thanks. I don't know where the lights are. I would guess that they are on the roof at the opposite end of the courtyard.

The lighting is incredible. Where are the lights, by the way? Nicely captured. -- Victor

I used the lens correction filter in CS2. I didn't even know it existed until Olaf mentioned it, but I still had no problem using it. The grid lines are very useful even for rotation without distortion correction, so I might start using that instead of the measure tool.

Okay, Mr. Lau, you did in fact correct some of the distortion...I saw it immediately and it looks very, very good. But, just exactly how did you acomplish this? Best Wishes, Traveller

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, Olaf. I've corrected some of the distortion.

I wrote the below at work, so I kept it short, but I want to add that I like this a lot! The distortion is a minor thing - easy to abstract from. Gold against blue is a classic combination and you nailed the exposure. The composition is central, but very strong, and I beleive the right thing to do. The ornate building leaves lots of detail for the eye to explore. I also like how the side structures are dimmer, but still has detail. Well done!

Garret, that is because this image shows quite a bit of barrel-distortion besides the keystone effect which is a result of tilting the camera upwards. I would keep the keystone effect, but would try to do something about the barrel distortion (supposed to be pretty simple in CS2, if that's what you have (I don't)).

Thanks for the comments. I couldn't figure out how to correct all the lines. The line from the cross to the main door is vertical, but the sides of the building look like they need to be rotated counter-clockwise, and the horizontal lines look like they need to be rotated clockwise.

Very nice, Garrett. The light and colors are beautiful. * correct the vertical lines in PS, maybe?
