This would be another good example of my low key quest: suppose you look at just the subject, and ignore the background. The histogram of the result would seem to have a spike to the right because of the white faces. But just try it. There's actually a ramp with one peak -- on the left. So it seems clear that by Olaf's benchmark, this is low key. -- Victor
