The Chandelier Falls *

This is actually frost on the inside of my bathroom window. I wonder if anyone else will feel this qualifies as "perspective" because a very close-up image looks like a more distant view of something different.

Thank you both very much. Lew, it was almost -30F when I shot this. The exceptional cold and the moisture from showering in that bathroom over a few days built the most amazing ice structures on that window. Traveller, I shot quite a few of the frost on that window, and some have really great patterns too, but in the end, this one, the very first frame I shot, just seemed to be the one I liked the best. I've done a bit of cloning and actually cropped this ever so slightly wider to include the very tip of one of the crystals that was previously nipped off a bit. You cannot believe how bad sensor dust is when shooting with this lens. The effective aperture for this shot was f/78. Jim H.

OK, maybe I'll vote for it, there is some depth here...yet, there may be a spot or two that you might want to clone out. This is like Diamonds being alive and so the picture deserves whatever care you can give it. (Not that I'm a person to give you any advice...but being Michael Puff like could help any of us). I want to vote for this...for just being one superior Image! Wow! But for perspective? Damned if I know...Someone help me on this, I am seriously torn now. (btw, love the blue chair also) Best Wishes, Traveller

Jim - I'm not sure about perspective, but that is some bad-ass frost! You're so lucky to live in a frigid climate and have these photo ops .. Lew
