thanks Tim, Sharon and Matt. I thought the silo added a little more interst to the shot.

I'm in the 'keep the silo' camp. It works because it subverts the conventional expectation in a railroad track shot of perfect symmetry. It's cool! Tim

This is lovely, Lee! And it couldn't be any more on topic! I don't mind the silo, it adds interest and gives a sense of place. ~Sharon

I like the reflection on the tracks. I like less the silo pointing out of the tress to the left. Did you say cloning time? :-)

Can only endorse the first 2 comments. Lovely shot. There's nothing wrong with that kit lens - I wish I hadn't had to sell mine when I sold my 300D.

Your angle is perfect, as the light reflects on the tracks --- aam1234

Oh Lee, this is a totally shameless two train track perspective shot...d@mn, I'm jealous that you got it instead of me. The angle of the sun light on those tracks is spectacular. (*) The image seems a bit noisy in the foliage left and right of the tracks. Was it taken at high ISO? I think a wee bit of noise reduction would be complimentary for those portions of this image. Regardless, it's a wonderful shot. -Michael
