Funny, Tech, but I really don't care for it without the brambly thing. It looks too plain, like something is missing. To me the bramble adds some foreground interest and depth to the image. The whole image is filled with details of branches, all interweaving. The only area that doesn't have them is the depth of the mid-ground, which is clear and open feeling. Removing the forfront tangles, you leave a blankness that no longer makes the middle blankness special. The shack is like a little oasis, away from the chaos of all else. Remove the brambles and your eye goes there for a rest, instead of the shack, making there be no more need for the shack to exist. Do you see what I mean? :) ~ Lonnit
As for the brambly things, they were growing on top of a fence that I had to avoid. This vantage point had me on top of a bit of a hill. I don't think I would have cared as much for the angle had I gone down to the fence. ~ Lonnit
HOLY COW! This one just got picked up in Flickr's Interestingness page as well!! That makes 3 shots from one day's shoot - I'm absolutely speechless!!!! ~ Lonnit
