A post script from almost a year later.

My son's girlfriend, now finance, gave him a bottle of the 30 for his birthday. Steve set up three shot glasses containing 12, 18 and 30 year old Macallan. I got a taste of each. The difference in smoothness alone is remarkable!

Fine "scotch" to accompany the music. Very clever. I really like all the elements chosen for the still life and the marvelous light accentuating the glass, scotch, and bottle. Nicely done. -Michael

Thanks, Peter. I've been waiting for some one to ask. Since they haven't I guess that everybody clearly understands. LOL

Nice lighting and details.
I think most people don't know the subtitle of this symphony

The 30 is noticeably darker in the bottle, and REALLY picks up the tste from the oak casks. It is superb.

Actually, this bottle of 25 is more like 35 now! Alas, it doesn't get any better in the glass. No, I haven't tried the 30 yet. Perhaps when the first Grandchild arrives!

The 25 is quite tasty... have you tried the 30?
