I was in the process of putting in a nail to hang a picture when this occured to me.
OK, time to confess. I posted this image under my daughter's name (Ripley), taken with my "old" 10D as a ruse and as a reaction to certain comments on the theme. It had come to the point where it seemed as if someone posting a picture of a wall would be deemed "fantastic", which I thought was nonsense.
So, that's what I did. Yes, I drew the cross on. But, fundamentally, it's just a wall, there's no artistic merit or profound statements here.
As it happens, some people liked it. For the life of me, I don't know why. It's dreadful.
But there you go, I made a "statement". Perhaps a little churlish, perhaps I just don't understand how some people perceive "art"...
