A Snowy Walk in My Neighborhood (*)

I took a walk this morning before breakfast. There was snow everywhere. These are a few of the photographs I took.

(Thanks for the idea Sharon. I like it much better with the woods shot on the left and the street shot on the right.)

This is a beautiful series, Ann. I love snow and it brings back many wonderful memeries I've had over a lifetime of similar walks along the lovely New Engand countryside. The sky in #3 has a brightness that never fails to captivate my feelings of hope for the universe. shu

You have a lovely neighborhood and have a great series here telling a nice story! Gret work...enjoy the snow...we just got our first "staying" snow today and more on the way in a couple of days...

Cheers,
:-D

Hi Dorys. Thanks for the comments. Funny thing is I already switched the photos. The one on the right used to be on the left. It does look better this way. The white tones match better and the warmth of the wooded areal leads throught the warmth of the building to the cold of the view and the street. I agree about the drop shadow though. Changed it to blue. I think it works better. Thanks for the suggestion. Ann

Lovely grouping of photos Ann. * I agree with Sharon, the last picture will lead you into the rest of the series. Also, the drop shadow on the title is a nice idea but in this case the text is very blurry. Probably because of the size of the overall entry it's not big enough to read clearly.

Lovely, Ann! You have a very nice neighborhood. You might think about switching the first and last images to lead your eye into the series. ~Sharon
