Yes it was intended to give some insight as to where my feet take me so to speak, rather than the progression of the day, I like the day progression idea and agree slippers would work great.

Jeannie,
I can just imagin that set up :) one day I might actually investigate some purpose built lighting, but to be completely honest I love finding ways to mock things up..

My set up for the Toothbrush (Whiter than white) image from the last challenge involved: the door rack from the fridge, 2 CD's (toothbrush handle through centers to help prop it up) 4 sheets of a4 paper and the dreaded anglepoise lamp :)

Tom, nicely done & a great set to start off the challenge! Great "studio" setup. ;) I can sympathize with you. I've used my dark blue, satin robe as a backdrop on the kitchen counter with the under cabinet lights & desk lamps for lighting. LOL -- Jeannie (jburly)

This series peaks ones curiosity and uses footwear to allude to the various activities of the imagined wearer. Very clever!! shu

This reminds of how the day progresses. If the work boots go first... the day starts with work, fancy shoes symbolize the night out and the sneakers - relaxation, all nice and comfy. Well maybe some nice soft slippers mean the end of the day , but still the sneakers can work.

I like the idea but I think the different personalities would be more obvious if the shoes had different positions. Just a thought.

Cool idea. I like that all three pairs of shoes are in the same position. Also like the work boots in the middle. Ann C
