199_9926r.jpg

San Diego, California, USA

Regarding Vikas' request (see challenge thread) for an explanation of the thought behind the photo: It's difficult for me to put into words because unlike many of the contributors here, this is the kind of thing I shoot all the time, without even thinking about it. I'm always looking for lines and angles in architecture that other people might miss. By framing them with a camera, I feel like I can show people interesting sights they pass by every day. This particular image is from a white, nursing school building. I tried to get several surfaces in the shot to get subtly different shades and add depth to the image. Other than that, this is just a composition I liked.

Bee, I've enjoyed all of your images in this challenge and particularly like the composition of this abstract. Nicely done. -Michael

I lke your image, Bee. The simple shapes "make this" for me. Markjay

Bee, I like your photographic interpretations of minimalism - I can still tell what it is (kind of), but the photo is clearly not about what it is, but rather has become a new entity of its own.

Bee,

I think this is more minimal than most and is a fine photo.
