Thanks B and Dorys for the comments. In answer to your question, no its not sharp - not sure exactly why but it was a little windy and I had left the IS off. I've since discovered you can leave the IS on for tripod work with this lens.

Nicely minimal. At full size, are the lights and sign sharper, or still fuzzy? bee1000

this is so minimal that I can't see anything on the thumbnail with my cr@ppy work monitor! :-) dorys
