Yosemite Valley Flood (*)

An overnight rain brought waterfalls to a peak flow on the morning of 16 May 2005. Creeks and the Merced River overflowed their banks. Yosemite Valley was evacuated and closed to visitors.

Beautiful scene. (*) Is the sky too blown out, and would the composition be improved by cropping a bit out of the left side? -Ed Hahn
