Sorry, I had to move this to "Pending" because the file is a bit over the size limit.

Shu, this is a fun and active image. Love the title as well. -Michael

Shu, if I can get you over your layers block, that would be reward enough for me! I will not accept a fee, but I would love to guide you through! If you like, send me an email (see my email-address in my profile at the dpreview forums). We have to get you over this! Photo editing without layers is comparable to using a typewriter instead of a computer to write - you have to do it right the first time and editing is a pain in the royal bee-hind - often leaving you with no choice, but to start all over again...

Olaf--Boy! That was an improvement! Thanks for a very important critique.

(Don't tell anybody)......I cannot grasp layers and it's frustrating me to no end! Just reading your (and I'm sure you are giving us the simple way), instructions throws me into a tizzy. But, due to your very considerate effort, I will try again. I can follow along just so far and then there is a word I don't understand and I get lost. If you don't mind, I may ask you to clarify as I go. I will gladly send you a fee if I finally catch on. I'm sure much of this is just a mental block, but this problem is seriously hampering me from being more expessive in my photography. shu

Shu, if you could remove that lamp post smack in the middle of the frame, this would be a marvelous shot. I love the colors and the fact that you used flash to capture the snowflakes in the foreground - well done!

On a second note, I finished that layers tutorial that I promised in the last challenge. You don't seem to follow the challenge thread at dpr, so I thought I'd mention it here where you'd be more likely to notice. Have a look here:http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1019&message=15755592

On a third note (and then I'll shut up - promise), I was by your galleries today. I really, really liked your Glass Works and Abstract Water Reflections galleries - fantastic! You really have an eye for those kinds of shots!!!
