Dear Victor: I doubt that the Artist has seen this. I was in Lima, Peru, (and Iquitos, on the Amazon), with very little Spanish Speaking Ability...Communication with anyone was difficult...but doable.
The Artist was sweating rust on the steel sculpture with a tiny blow torch...I indidcated with with a good Oxy torch, (which had obviously been used at some time), I'd make this sucker glow...lol He thought I was a mad-man. His interest was the rust pattern on steel plates, (deadly dull) my interest was in the possibilities of color...which I did make into magic.
I have no Idea what he would think of this image. However, I'm not sure how much it matters, it is entirely mine now, not his...at all (smile with raised eyebrows). Best Wishes, Traveller

I'm a bit at a loss for words on how to describe this...This is a 6 foot steel construct, welded together by an Artist, that itself was contained in a 10 foot x 10 foot steel box, all of which was contained in a larger Avant Guard Museum in Lima. While the steel was burnished with heat, and Lima is just coming out of winter at the moment, and so I was greatful for this...the intensity of these colors are mine...and Photoshops'....lol.

I discussed this with the Artist, but for various sensible fire regulations, this was not possible in the Museum. I feel distinctly odd about using another artist's work...but my take is uniquely different that's for certain. Best Wishes, Traveller
