I agree with Lonnit - a real story here.
I think I'd be inclined to crop the right a little, as he's a bit to close to the centre. Otherwise, great shot.

This one lets your imagination tell the story. To me it was his disappointment in the lack of waves. To my daughter, it was that he was thinking about the reasons why he shouldn't go surfing today. Good composition nicely shot. ~ Lonnit
