Chris - To answer your question - could be. One of my many weaknesses is an inability to identify many of the birds/flowers/animals I take pictures of. Something I should make an effort to correct. I'm glad you (and Lonnit and Sharon) liked the flower anyway. Thanks. - CameraShy09

Nice to see the sunflower state represented. Nice shot also, I like this flower shot, you capture the beauty and color which attracts one to flowers in the first place. Some people over design, or under, your depth of field really puts me in the image and gives me a feel for the location in which it was captured. I think that this flower is the Heliopsis helianthoides, correct me if I am wrong, and not the Kansas State flower the Helianthus annuus, still very nice flower. Good job. Chris

I'm sorry Grant, but I can't help liking this one! LOL! It's pretty. :) ~ Lonnit

Well, I like it! As you say, in focus with very good DOF, but over and above that a lovely shot. I just discovered the comments on flower shots and now I understand why my lovely sunflower shot has not received one comment. Oh well, as you say, there is always the next challenge! Keep shooting! ~Sharon

Thanks for the comment Lonnit. I have to agree with most of the flower comments already made. They are beautiful and I enjoy looking at them. That said, I was reluctant to add yet another sunflow to this challenge. BUT thank heavens they are readily available and tend not to run away from you! LOL Since I still consider myself a rank amature, I'm glad to get a pretty photo, in focus, with some semblance of depth of field. Hoping to get something more creative in before the challenge. ends.

It's pretty but Grant has now managed to ruin flower shots for me! LOL! I would have thought this was nice, but now I know I would have been wrong. You should have posted it two days ago when I knew it was a good shot. ;) ~ Lonnit
