No need to reshoot - this is absolutely perfect as it is. I like the softness of the car anyway. You really outdid yourself here and you should be very, very, VERY proud of yourself! ~ Lonnit

Thanks for all the comments guys!

The photo was taken by mounting the camera to my roll bar, then getting a friend to drive his car around the roads at work close behind mine. This particular shot worked really well thanks to the constant radius bend and tree on the right adding to the speed effect.

Most of the shots came out blurred as it proved almost impossible to make 2 cars not move in relation to each other. If I did the shot again, I'd use a faster shutter, and faster car speed to try to smooth the bumps out a bit. I'm glad you all like it. -- Richard

Just back to enjoy again. I love the way this pulsates - usually a feeling from a Lensbaby effect. ~ Lonnit

Superb Richard really portrays the speed. Not easy to do this with a 1/2 second shutter speed.

"The WHOOOOOOOSH factor," as Lonnit calls it, is outstanding!!

Now THAT'S an image!!! Utterly fantastic. Conveys the speed beautifully! Ok, yes, we can all nitpick that the car isn't sharp, but who the heck cares!! The WHOOOOOOOSH factor is sublime! Applause, applause, applause!! ~ Lonnit
