Fabulous fun, Jeannie, and so very well done. Gorgeous colors. Personally, I don't find the hands over the face freaky. I think it's in the surrealist's owners guide that if you can float then you can have six hands. (*) Minor nit is that I'd like to see a little more of the shadow cloned out just below where his legs cross. Congrats to you. -Michael

I think it would be *less* freaky if the nose wasn't covered -- then there would be no breathing problems. BUT since the theme was clearly no eyes, nose, or mouth, I had to have him cover his eyes & nose together. -- Jeannie

Excellent work, though I'm with Lonnit on the hands on the face thing, though I can't think of a suitable alternative approach...

The one thing that struck me was the 'well done' shadow. It makes everything look real, until you see his face LOL...Very nice PS work and original concept!

Thanks for the comments. I wanted it to be a fun yet surreal picture.

I had one chance at this since my son said that sitting Indian style on top of a stool was hurting his feet. I had to be fast so I took 3 pictures: one with hands covering the eyes, one over the mouth, & one over the ears. Fortunately, they all came out & I was able to put them together in PS.

The grass is from our yard & the sky is actually one of those very rare days when we have blue sky & clouds (thanks to all the pollution). Normally, we just have a nice haze. I was pleased to get such a pretty sky.

I tried different backgrounds (beach, sand dunes, etc.) but those they were all too distracting. I felt the simplicity of this backgrounds really brough the attention to the main subject. -- Jeannie

Hi Jeannie, this looks like it was fun putting together. Hope he caught a good breath first :) - Kelly

Freaky weird! Funny, because today I was looking at my 3 kids sitting on the couch and thought of shooting them doing this phrase. I'm not so sure about the hands on the face b/c it's really freaky, but I do love the whole rest of the shot. ~ Lonnit
