I suppose not for this challenge, but the shot would be more effective with the eyes in full focus, and maybe slightly larger DOF. I think also the balance of the image is off, although the red is powerful I don't feel that if you are staying with the red, that you show enough. I also think that your model is a little stiff :P Chris

Thank you for looking and your comment, I was wondering my self about the eyes too. also I should have put a note for the viewer about good monitor or to turn the room light off . as for the zoom sorry my model was very difficult to work with , you can see more of her here

Well it takes a good monitor to really see what this is all about. Very dark and difficult to see all the detail. I think there's far too much of the frame taken up here with essentially a dark mass which leaves nothing for the viewer to really latch on to. Also at this zoom and crop, we can see eyes (which on a technicality is a no no for this challenge). Probably taken from further back, you might have been able to get a more successful image. Sorry about the lashing!! Welcome to the challenges!
