This is actually a throw-away image from a set I did the other night, specifically because it blocks out her face. I personally don't mind the softness so much, but I can see it being a potential issue.

Yes - the face is neatly masked by another element in the picture so you're timing with this is spot on. Your F1.4 aperture has left the image quite soft though, and compositionally it would have been nice to have got her feet in. A shame she's wearing the same colour as the background.
