I thought about what Jim said and decided I liked the tree shadow-- it would stand well on its own without it, but in this case I think the shadow adds a bit of whimsey. --Nancy/odigi

This is one that is nice because at first glance, it's so simple, but as you look a bit more, there's plenty of detail to entertain the eye. I was thinking and typing that I like the shadow of the tree or whatever it is next to the window and as I was, my son stuck his head in the door and said "that one would be better without that tree shadow on it". Of course, he had no idea that the theme was Light and Shadow, but still, I wonder now too how it would look without it. Hmmm. I guess he's a real minimalist!
