Nice shot. The colours are great and so is the distortion.

Like I said, I think you may be right about the flipping part, but I have decided against it, because of the slightly documentary quality of this shot. Also, flipping renders the lettering over the door obviously mirrored as well...

of course Olaf, I did mean left to right, thanks

Thank you Rob! About the flipping, I think you may be right. I guess it is because we westerners are so used to reading from left to right...?

Great shot, good composition, good color and very well developed. I hope you don't mind but I did a horizonal flip and it seems much more powerful. I don't know what it is, but sometimes things seem more correct right to left, I have no idea why?

Thanks for your input RK! I guess you are touting a vertical instead? I see how that could work as well. You've also made me see another possibility: cropping down to a square, keeping only the rightmost part of the image.

Including both the lamp and flowers in the sprinkling cans was actually what I was hunting when I shot this. The challenge was how to tie them together and I felt the diagonal line of the sandstone cornice did that rather well. Two centers of interest is especially hard - it has to be an obvious dialogue to be successful. You may be right about the lamp being more of a distraction than a positive addition to the story of the shot - I am undecided as of right now...

Great colors and perspective here. The lamp is a little distracting. Also, would like to see the complete roofline of the yellow house.
