Garden gnomes can be seen in quite different ways. Are they works of art or simply kitsch, a sign of bad taste? I do not want to state my view on this controversy here; it just occurred to me that a "hi ho" would be an appropriate term for a group of gnomes when I discovered these 7 dwarfs in a nearby garden. They remind me of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
