Can You Hear It?*

1903 Mendelson Upright Grand
They used to make them out of real wood back then.
This one is made out of gorgeous quarter-sawn oak.
So she's got a few flat notes . . . I can't tell
the difference anyway being tone deaf. But I
like to look at it. haha.

Bingo, Cindy! Wonderful curves juxtaposed with straight lines, light juxtaposed with shadow, movement juxtaposed with static...in other words, it grabs me :-) -Michael

There's a whole lot to like in this shot-- the curvy lines, the angles, the 'vibrating' keys.... it's great, Cindy. --Nancy/odigi

Cindy, beautiful picture! I think the motion of the keys really adds to the image. And yes, I can almost hear it. :) -- Jeannie (jburly)

Ya gotta love those old pianos. I llike the addition of the blurred keys in your photo. They add movement to the image.
