I just love your sense of humor!

Well, I like it regardless. I am however a little surprised that the mouse is, "pleasantly oof," at f22.

Be that as it may, a very....smart image. The more I think about it, the more I like it.

Well the DOF required f/22. The cheese is actually inside the close focal point. the mouse is pleasantly OOF. f/22 was what was required. I dont have a flash adapter so it is lit with my trusted desklamp from left and window from right. I agree that this shot could be achieved with different equipment at less than 4secs. However with my setup 4secs was the go.

Andy, I must echo Alexeig's comments - although you needed 4sec at f/22, did you need f/22? Could the same result have been achieved, say, using f/8, perhaps with a flash?
I can see no reason why you *had* to shoot this at a long exposure. That doesn't disqualify the image, of course, and you have every right to shoot it this way if you want...

Alexieg;

1. yes at f/22 that was what was required under the lighting i had for a correct exposure.
2. it is and quite delicious too. Brebis.
3. the mouse has an aura. It is not going to eat the cheese even if it could.

thanks for your comments

I like menacing mouse which seems to be very eager to eat this cheese, great play with reflections. Some comments
- do you need 4 secs here?
- cheese looks a tad soft
- halos around mouse, cheese and cheese shadow, probably either from Shadow/Highlight tool or from large radius USM
