Revolving Around Polaris*

43 minutes exposure time should be long enough for this challenge.
You can see how the stars seem to revolve around
Polaris in the center due to earth rotation.
As Polaris indicates, the camera was pointed
roughly to the North.
The bright trails in the upper right corner
are drawn by the Big Dipper.
The red glow in the lower part
is caused by the city lights.

Some PS work was necessary as the original image
was rather noisy and lacked contrast.

Funny that there aren't any other star trails in this challenge - well done. Next time go out to the country away from the light of any towns, and on a moonless night - you -- will get great contrast and colours. Neil
