awesome!, the apple's outer texture looks like some kind of silk.(*) I personally would've liked to see a bit more of the front of the front apple. But I know it's easy to say and not that easy to do. Speaking of myself, In the thrill of taking the actual photo I sometimes find myself missing those few extra details. I'm always excited and with the time crunch , the heat is on ;)

Thanks Kelly! I used a mini mag lite with a napkin over it to reduce the glare on the shiny apples. Will clone those out in the morning. No PS work other than USM. theFly

Nice composition and contrast. Interesting white balance - what light source did you use for your painting? The two white dots and one blue dot could have been cloned away without hurting anything. Did you do any work in Photoshop aside from resizing and adding the border?
