Beautiful soft light and composition. The red color of the rose complements it nicely. -Roumen

Beautiful Louise. I like how used a mirror. Gives me ideas for this year's xmas cards.

Hi Dorys !

You did a great job here ! I like the soft tones. Beautiful !

Painting with light is fun. I was also inspired by Angela, she is so great. I did something very similar to yours a couple of months ago. Check * HERE * .

Thank you all for your comments.

Angela-being that you are my PWL idol, I am quite thrilled that you approve. :-) I was quite surprised that I accomplished this without having read your tutorial...which we are all so anxiously waiting for... hint hint.

Traveller-aside from learning a new hobby, these challenges are also teaching me patience!

Debbie-I agree about the bubbles, but with a 13 sec exposure, capturing those little buggars would be difficult without doing two shots and overlaying them. see my above comment about patience. LOL

You did beautifully! This is sensational. Great simple set up. A shot full of romance and PWL was perfect for it. If this were my shot, I'd be thrilled.

I agree with the other posters...this is very nice...but more than nice, you truly used PWL to your benifit....good hi-lights, great shadows...and that's the trick in this game I think, using the shadows.

Also the set up was very good and well thought out. I suppose the bubbles issue is out there....but it was refreshing to hear you say that this took you a couple of days to get right. I appreciate the telling of that and the work that went into this image.

Best Wishes,

Traveller
