Second Place: San Francisco Bay Bridge *

The San Francisco Skyline taken around half an hour after the sun set.
Around this time, the lights come on and you still don't lose the colors
of the sky.

Canon EOS 20D, 17-40L

Frank - thanks for the comments. I shot this picture in RAW - therefore, I just adjusted WB color temperature to show warmth. Also, for this image, I stepped up saturation. Most of my saturation is via layer masks - I worked separately on the sky staturation vs. the buildings (so tweaked color balance independantly too). Most importantly, I took this image while the sky was still red and blue - too late in the night takes out all colors.

I really like the sky.

Would you be willing to give up any of your processing secrets? I took a similar pano Friday night on Treasure Island and could use any advice. I haven't quite figured out what white balance settings to use. I suppose it's completely arbitrary.
