The Morning After*

This is not technically anywhere near what I was looking for, but as i only had a couple of minutes to grab it this morning it will have to do. The bottle was in the sun so again i had a problem with exposing for the bottle highlights and the dim, dark pond.....I haven't ever done the mono/colour 'thing' before and I think this came out OK for a first attempt - comments appreciated on how to improve - but I used it to make the statement i was looking for. It was tripod mounted but somehow still doesn't look sharp.....

Last weekend I organised a littler sweep of a small conservation area near my home. About 30 local people turned out and we removed a large lorry load of rubbish, from wrappers & bottles to an old bed and cooker! No sooner had we finished than the local yobs returned and decided the pond was a better place to leave their bottles than the bins. It makes me sad but at the same time more determined.
