Beautiful lighting and texture on the fabric, but I'd like the heart to have a little more impact. Perhaps if it were a silver locket of something. Phil

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm happy you like it. I was very suprised to see how this came out .... I just did minor post-processing, but nothing to alter the colors. I didn't shoot it especially for this challenge, but when I saw my soft pink fabric coming out red, I said to myself that would perfectly fit the Challenge 40 RED ... This is just some regular fabric I bought in a fabric store. It's some kind of synthetic fabric that can be use for special occasions, like for a prom dresses but I don't know how it's called. You can see the real color of the fabric * HERE * . And you can also see the little heart I used * HERE * . Thanks again for you encouraging words !

Now this is MY kind of photo!!! FABRIC! Look at all that beautiful luscious fabric and how SPLENDIDLY it catches the light!! This is beautiful. The composition really does give the sense that the heart is lonely, and also because it is not quite in the brightest part of the light -- almost like it's chasing the light. And speaking of the light, I LOVE that you did this by light painting!! Excellent. Oh, and also, what kind of fabric is that and where did you get it?
