It is not only the title. I particularly like the lighting in this image. It fits the ambiguity of the title. The amount of red is indeed only a small percentage of the whole image but it is enough to attract my interest in taking a closer look. Perhaps you could consider uploading your entries in a bigger size, this would do more justice to the quality of your work. (Okay, OTOH not everybody has 1280*1024, and having to scroll is not so good). -Gerald
If the best thing about the image is the title, perhaps I will swap it back out with the candle again. I wasn't happy with the lay of the garter belt here. As you say, it's not evident what it is. All your points are quite valid. Thanks. :) ~ Lonnit
Lonnit, whilst this image does not match your other two entrants, i have to admire the title. i'm a sucker for clever plays on words. I think where this one fails and the others succeed is the clothing is not clearly defined as to what it is. We have to let the title tell us that. Also and IMO more importantly, the theme is not eveident. Red is dominated by orange/yellow in this image. Your images are evocative and worthy of some discussion.
