The pioneers traveling from Missouri to California still had about
100 miles to go to reach the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains
and start the climb over 10,000 foot Donner Pass. I can't even
imagine what they must have felt and thought of this country,
photographic as it is.
This was taken during the challenge period but I couldn't fit
