Looks like your camera passed the test. Funny/engaging set-up. Post-Easter, I have a dozen or so of these things spread throughout the house. And they appear to be multiplying. --Joe

Thanks all for the very nice comments, upsidedown, maybe normally an increase in dof would work but with this being a 'focus test' I guess it has to be wide open. Rob.
