How can it be a doorknob? It's not even a knob. Seriously, though, I recall having seen a discussion about the merits of this sort of device compared to a "real" doorknob, with this type supposedly being superior. There is some sort of difference between Europe and America regarding which is more prevalent, but I don't remember what it was. Probably something like all civilized societies should have handles vs. knobs to help the handicapped.
Getting back to the photo itself, Lonnit, can you explain why such a shallow depth of field? I find myself wanting the end of the handle to be in focus. -- Victor
Amazing that we are here tonight complimenting a DOOR KNOB image :-) but, the blurred background does bring your knob into the viewers focus and, I happen to like the way the end of the door knob is out of focus, along with it's light reflections. Markjay
Phil, after all the groaners I received in response to my post about getting a stock image of a calf nursing sold, this 'purty' thing was a relief! LOL! So, in my best little southern belle drawl I'll respond.... Why thankee kindly gentleman. :) And, for the record, I believe the comment would be "Ya got a right purty lil' doorknob thar lil' lady." LOL! ;) ~ Lonnit

"You got a purty doorknob lady", said in my best (worst?) Southern Drawl... I'm sorry, I've no idea why that popped into my head... :)
