Congratulations. Very difficult to be in the right place at the right time. This shot captures a lot of tension and evokes a strong reaction. CameraShy09.

No I dont freelance but I would like to. Twice now in the last two months I have been at the right place at the right time and been the only photographer there.
Cool...just wanted to make sure that you were careful...It i a great "in the moment shot". Do you freelance? Curious.

Yes there was a small child on the stretcher (you can barely see his/her feet). Im not sure that anyones privacy is in jeopardy here. I was careful not to select a shot that showed the childs face or anything that revealed the name of the public park. I dont know the severity of the accident. I received an email from my local paper as they were considering to run the story and to use my photos that the child threw a golf club up in the air and knocked themselves out.
I certainly hope that there isn't someone on the stretcher (for privacy's sake)...but this image is a scary reminder of how fragile life can be...definitely a sense of urgency... a well taken photo...although it leaves me shivering.
