Time And Space*

Orsay museum, Paris, France.

The Orsay museum opened 1986 in a converted railroad station built in 1900. It houses works of art from the 1800's, especially Impressionist paintings. On the upper level of this museum, there is a café, where views of Paris can be enjoyed from behind the original station clock.

Teapot, I believe that this clock is among the most photographed objects in the museum apart from the paintings so I am not so surprised to see your shot but I find it remarkable that both of us pointed our cameras exactly to the basilica of Sacré Coeur. What I find surprising: I have been there three or four times during our annual trips to Paris but I never saw the clock without that annoying curtain. You have been very lucky to catch it without it. -Gerald

Gerald, I have to say this is a great shot as I took a very similar one while in the museum in 2003. Maybe we have the same photographers eye.
My shot is

Teapot.
