Michael, thanks for your comment. You can trust your memory, I have entered the same subject in an earlier challenge (but differently arranged and without the out-of-frame effect). Maybe I have carried sharpening a bit too far, particularly as for the topic of this challenge, less detail outside the subject might be an advantage. I still have to search for the original in order to add the missing shot data and the date. BTW great topic. - Gerald

Great "out of frame" work. You even went the length to make the outer frame the same color as the background. LOL Good job! Have I seen this image from before? I like the details in the snow and I can almost feel that the frozen tangerine being hard. However, I feel that the image is slightly oversharpened...
