Myself, I don't see the "limitations" of film as a disadvantage, in fact I don't see any limitations. I do all processing myself. It takes about 15 minutes to process B&W film. For web publishing, I can scan the negatives and work with the pictures just like I do with pictures taken with a digital camera. Printing pictures is more work though, but because of this I think more about which pictures I want to print and why. I took about 120 pictures on that day, I don't think I would have taken more had I used my digital camera.
I just prefer the look and feel of B&W film over digital B&W. :) It's a matter of taste.
These are a very unusual set of pictures, why ? because they have been shot on film and scanned which makes it even more meritorious considering you could really not pick and choose or shoot like crazy until you got a good one ,you just had to shoot to the limitations of film and then wait to see what the processing had delivered to you.
For that reason alone I think you deserve a hearty congratulations for a great effort.
