Dear Lonnit, it is in itself an honour for a photograph(er) to receive a comment from you. I do admire your work !!
The main street of Reims slopes down from the Cathedral to the left of this pic to a canal on the right. I remember that vividly as I had to push the baby pram up the slope while having 10lbs of Camera pack on my back. --- WONDERSTRUCK
Excellent shot, particularly the color. A bit crooked though. I, anal as I get about these things, would PS it to straighten and then crop at the top of the sign so nothing above it shows. Fine shot! ~ Lonnit
Yes the cathedral is a wonderful place steeped in history, with the statue of Jeanne D'arc in the park to the left.I must see if I have a street shot.

My wife dragged me to Reims as there is a famous cathedral there that she just had to see. It's such a small sleepy town, especially so on a Sunday. My highlight at Reims was meeting Albert smoking outside his shop. He was kind enough to allow me to practice my broken French when I asked him permission for his photo and about his shop, but later, let on that he knew English very well and was stringing me all along ! ---WONDERSTRUCK
