Just having a second look at this image and I see some room for a slight improvement in the post processing: snip off a bit on the shadow-end of the tonal range, using either levels or curves. The tire on the car could be darker, without it hurting and the slightly "milky" look to the image would disappear. Possibly, you could even make the midtones slightly darker, to make the illusion even more life-like. --Olaf.dk

Thanks CindyI did take quite a few variations. Lucky thing with Murals is they stay put!

Great idea to contrast the modern street life - which is unfortunately dominated by automobiles, and the historical time. I like it very much. Cindy

Thanks, Olaf. Again I considered this and have a version different car with the wheel in but I wated to take out all "real" aspecs with the exception of the car. Road would have detracted from it im my view. You have made me think, though. M

I like this also. My "but" is more about the bottom of the car being cropped out. I would have liked to see the full circle of the wheel and just a bit of the ground. --Olaf.dk

I thought about this, Gayle and have a shot with another car in focus but wanted to draw more attention to the people. Thanks for your comments, Mark

I quite like this although I think it would be better if the car was properly in focus. I like the composition...it looks like the painted people are about to get in the car. And I'm really fond of photos of murals with real life foreground interest.

Looking at it again, you win.......there is somebody in the car, although they all look pretty stiff to me ;0

Thanks Mark,I left a message in the thread and you may have got in on a technicality ,so I would be inclined to leave this one up to the voters.
