Replaced image based on coments: Brought out shadow detail in levels,
burned the white superstructure of the bridge on the right side to
add detail (as opposed to cropping it out), increased saturation on
the bridge decking, increased 'local contrast ' using this USM

Thanks Olaf, I thought I was the only one who saw some humor in this scene. I was actually not intending to shoot at the moment and looked up and observed this and very quickly grabbed the shot before people walked in front of me. Not exactly how I would have composed it if I had time . . . but I still thought it amusing. Cindy P.S. - there were other people on the far right of the frame that were cropped out, this wasn't the in-camera crop as I previously reported.

Cindy, I also think it looks best uncropped. The balance is lost if cropped. I do feel like bumping up saturation a bit and maybe cut off a tiny bit in the deepest shadows, using levels (as you don't have curves, right?). Don't know what I've been thinking, but it's not until now that I see what you're trying to say with the title - funny! (I guess I haven't been thinking much about the title). --Olaf.dk

Hi guys, I actually did crop it like that before I entered this, but thought it left the bridge hanging in space . . . no resolution that the rail provides now, and went back to the in-camera crop. Are you sure??? :) Cindy

i agree with alex, lose the right 1/6th of the frame..

Crop a bit from the right, this white area adds nothing to the image
