Thanks to everyone who voted for my image. I never thought it would make it into the top ten. And a special thank you to Lonnit; without your remark about sharpness and DOF this result would not have been possible. (Yes, Lonnit, I have added a small amount of blur to the lamp post and the wall behind). -Gerald

HEY! Did you blur the lampost? The DOF is in balance now! Wonderful capture!! I can really appreciate the shot now that I'm not being distracted. Really teriffic! ~ Lonnit

Lonnit and Thubleau, thanks for your comments. I have added a small amount of sharpness to the man's face and I think it is an improvement. I whish I could repeat the shot from a more favourable position and without having to cut off the left corner of the accordion case but I am afraid it is too late now ;-) I have experimented with different crops but was not quite content with the results. -Gerald

Yes you could crop but I meant to actually shoot the image square to loose the angle.

Well, it could easily be cropped right there along the building edge and that would work for your suggestion very nicely. ~ Lonnit

Hi, I would have liked to have seen this image taken a little bit more to the left bringing it more square and losing the presence of the shop window.

Very nice shot. I would like to see his face at least as sharp as the foreground. I won't kill you on points for that though. ;) ~ Lonnit
