Better, but I still think the jewel should be razor sharp. You know me, I'm no fan of every image being tack sharp, but this one is screaming for it. It's a giant diamond, it should be sharp enough to cut the glass of our monitors! ;) ~ Lonnit

Banding? On a 10D? Who's ever heard of such a thing? :)
This was a quick process using FVU (not even EVU!), I'll revisit later, either as a totally new image, or a better processed one.

Gorgeous colours Phil, but I find I'm really distracted by the blown out light in the center, and the ornament with the self portrait in it. Perhaps move around the bauble a bit to get a different angle - Tracy!
