I prefer this one to the other two as well. And what I meant to say in my first comment was that it works, even _with_ the two elements competing for attention. --Olaf

You're right Shu - it's mostly a matter of taste, which is very subjective. I've checked your other 2, and this is my favourite crop. But, being the simple person I am, I would prefer it without the beads... again, just my taste - Tracy
Guys, I have another image prepared with your suggestions......however, what I see in this is snake-like shapes in the beads, shadow and wrought iron frame......that, coupled with the mix of color makes it an image to my liking. (But, gosh, every photographer may have a different impression. A matter of taste, I guess.) Again, it's always wise to be open for criticism. Thanks. Shu

I have to agree with Olaf that the beads seem to be competing with each other. The bowl alone would make a great shot... or perhaps hang the beads from the lip of the bowl to tie them in with each other a bit more... just my 2c worth - Tracy!
Olaf--Thanks for the comment. I judge my work by just looking at it and if it looks "right" to me, that's all that matters. I don't exactly know why. I love comments like your's because they give me the opportunity to fine tune my work. Shu
It's a very complex composition and the bowl and beads are competing for attention, but still there is something very appealing about this shot - well done! --Olaf
