A couple of quaker eggs are nestled with some live oak
acorns in the shell of a bur oak acorn. Also pictured
are red oak acorns and their shells and the green leaves
of another oak. If someone knows the species, please let
me know. These are all arranged around a ball moss
(Tilandsia) plant that is fruiting. The red leaves in
the background are the first secondary leaves of a bur
oak I grew from an acorn. The rest were gathered from
around the neighborhood. I'd like feedback on which is
better, this larger, portrait view, or the next, cropped,
landscape view. I think I prefer the next one, but it
doesn't contain all the elements I wanted.
